About Us

The name of our church, Hosanna Christian Church, was born out of our love and worship for the Saviour. Jesus went to the Cross to pay the penalty of our sin. As innocent as He was, He made an ultimate sacrifice by giving His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28). How can we ever repay Him? There is only way to do that: by serving Him through worship and love Him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Luke 10:27).

At our church, we never fail to give Jesus due worship every Sunday, simply because we are in-loved with Him!

More than 20 decades ago, the whole city of Jerusalem was in great uproar as the crowd welcomed the man riding on a donkey who they considered as the "prophet from Nazareth in Galilee" (Matthew 21:8-11). The big question among them was "Who is this man?" Who would have thought that a son of a carpenter would draw huge crowd as they spread their garments and branches of palm trees, as they chanted:

"Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Blessed is the King of Israel" (John 12:13)

Many centuries went by, and today, Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah is still receiving a shout of Hosanna-acclamation around the world, as Lord of lords and King of kings. Our church, Hosanna Christian Church, located in Schofields, Western Sydney, Australia is joining hands with billions of Christians (who are already in heaven or who are still here on earth) to give Jesus a big "Hallelujah" chorus.

The name of our church coincides with the Mission Statement, "A vibrant church that is so full of love and worship for Jesus."

Our church is multicultural. We welcome people from all walks of life, race, culture, gender, and beliefs. Anyone who walks through the door, will receive a warm welcome. I always encourage the church  that in Heaven, we will spend eternity praising and worshipping the King of kings; and, let's get used to it by rehearsing and have "dry-run" every Sunday.
